What is AI?

AI is the abbreviation of artificial intelligence, also known as omniscience and machine intelligence, which refers to the intelligence shown by machines made by humans. Generally, artificial intelligence refers to the technology of presenting human intelligence through ordinary computer programs. The term also refers to the study of whether and how such an intelligent system can be realized. At the same time, through the progress of medicine, neuroscience, robotics, and statistics, etc., the normal forecast believes that many human occupations will gradually be replaced by them.

Current Situation

At present, AI has begun to help in some fields. In these fields, AI plays more of a role in assisting and enhancing human work, rather than completely replacing it. Human expertise, creativity, complex problem-solving, and people skills are still integral to many jobs. Additionally, there are many fields and jobs that still require direct human involvement and decision-making capabilities, here are some examples of AI jobs:

1.) Manufacturing

In manufacturing, many repetitive and regular tasks have been replaced by automation and robotics, such as assembling, packaging and shipping items on assembly lines. However, the current work of AI in the manufacturing industry is limited to repetitive and regular work, and other parts still need to be completed by humans.

2.) Customer service and online support

There is already an AI customer service on the Lazada and Shopee platforms, which will help customers solve some simple problems, such as the package's delivery status and various technical problems. However, AI customer service will automatically broadcast the more profound issues to real customer service to help solve them.

3.) Service industry

In the service industry, many restaurants have used AI to deliver food to customers, such as BBQ Plaza, which will use AI to deliver food to designated tables. However, the work of AI can only deliver meals, and other more intimate services still need humans to complete.

Future Vision

In the future, AI will definitely be more advanced. But I think even in the next 30-40 years, it is impossible for AI to completely replace humans in all fields. The fields that AI can replace can only be some relatively simple jobs, such as simple accounting, legal knowledge, paperwork, etc. In the future, artificial intelligence will become more powerful, and it can effectively assist human beings and help human careers. But for people with relatively low education, artificial intelligence will pose a threat to them, because in the future era, education and experience are the chips for finding a job. If some occupations with simple jobs are replaced by artificial intelligence, people with lower education and experience will be unemployed.

Solution not to be replaced by AI

1. People can continuously learn and improve their skills

Learning and continuous progress can avoid being replaced by AI in the future because some jobs that require strong professional ability and creativity and productivity are often difficult to be replaced by AI. People can pay attention to new trends, learn new things, and keep up with trends. The pace is very likely not to be replaced by AI.

2. People can go to find new fields and job opportunities

In the next 30-40 years, there will definitely be many new fields and jobs that cannot be replaced by AI, because AI can usually replace some common occupations such as accountants. So exploring new fields and job opportunities is where people can avoid being replaced by AI.

3. People can choose to start a business

Instead of being replaced by AI, humans can start a business to use AI to help their own business. Entrepreneurship is completely impossible for AI because the birth of AI is ultimately an auxiliary tool for human beings. But entrepreneurship is not something that everyone can do. People need to have good ideas and enough funds to start a business.

Reflection

I think AI is a good partner for humans, but because of its power, many people are afraid of their careers being replaced by AI. In the future, it is inevitable that simple occupations will be replaced, but as long as people improve themselves and discover more new things, it is actually difficult to be replaced by AI. Because AI cannot completely replace humans, but it can replace simple jobs. So we can't be afraid of AI, we should be more happy that AI can do better and better because AI can really reduce people's burden and create higher value.
